Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data held by Ampli5 Tech Labs Private Limited (CIN U62011MH2026PTC475456) (operator of the Ampli5 service) through the Ampli5 software, including any data obtained through the WhatsApp Business Platform.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@ampli5.in with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

  • Your name and the phone number / email the data relates to.
  • If you are a business customer: your organisation name.
  • If you are a lead / end-user: the business (our customer) that contacted you, if known.
  • A brief description of the data you want deleted.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, to protect against unauthorised deletion.

What we delete

  • Account, profile, and contact records associated with you.
  • Lead/contact records, call recordings, transcripts, and call outcomes tied to the request.
  • WhatsApp message content and the related WhatsApp Business Account connection data we hold for the request.

Timeline

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some information may be retained for a limited period where required by law (for example, billing/tax records) or to resolve disputes; it is then deleted or anonymised.

If you are a lead / end-user

For data a business processed about you using Ampli5, that business is the data controller. You may contact them directly, or contact us and we will route your request to them (the controller) or act on their instructions as their processor.

WhatsApp / Meta data

When a business customer disconnects their WhatsApp Business Account from Ampli5, we stop using and delete the associated WhatsApp Platform data we held for them, except where retention is legally required. You can also request deletion of specific WhatsApp message data using the steps above.
